8. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on the device that you use to access the website iquadart.com. They contain the information that is gathered from your device and sent back to the site every next time you visit it in order to remember your actions after the time is expired.

The following types of cookies are used on iquadart.com:

  • Strictly required cookies / technical cookies: these cookies are required to carry out the correct operation of the site iquadart.com. They do not include any information that would allow us to identify you. E.g., we take advantage of the cookies that allow us to store the session identifier. This file is deleted from the user's device as soon as the user has closed the browser.
  • Third-party cookies. To analyze the behavior of users on the site iquadart.com, we employ such services as Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica. These services help us to know how users interact with the pages of the site iquadart.com (e.g., we can find out how much time the users averagely spend on the site, from what sources they come to the site, what devices and browsers they make use of in order to view the site iquadart. com, etc.). Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica services collect cookies. The information about your using the site generated by these cookies will be transferred and stored on Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica servers. By employing Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica, we do not gather any personally identifiable information.

We use the Google Analytics service with the activated IP-address anonymization function. This means that Google reduces the site users’ IP-addresses before they are sent to Google (i.e., masking IP-addresses takes place). The full IP-address is transferred to the Google server in the US only in exceptional cases and is reduced there. The IP-address transferred by the browser is not linked to other data available at Google. We also make use of the IP-address masking function in Yandex.Metrics. Yandex.Metrica reduces the site users’ IP-addresses, and the system records an incomplete IP-address.

The Yandex.Metrics function ‘WebVisor’ records the site visitors’ actions, including the contents of the form fields that the user fills in. At the same time, Yandex.Metrica identifies the fields in which the visitors can enter confidential information: e.g., their first and last names. The contents of these fields are automatically replaced with asterisks. However, we have additionally forbidden Yandex.Metrics to record the contents of all the fields of the forms placed on the site (the contents of all the form fields are replaced by asterisks).

Most web browsers accept cookies by default. However, you can choose not to use cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. You can find out how to do it by clicking on ‘Help’ in the menu of your browser.

You can also opt out of using cookies on the page.

If you do not want Google Analytics to gather the information about the sites you visit, you can also take advantage of the Google Analytics Blocker. If you do not want Yandex.Metrica to gather the information about the sites you visit, you can employ the tool at yandex.ru/support/metrika/general/opt-out.html.
